Economise@Work
is an innovative programme designed to help the members of a workplace to identify how to save significant day to day running costs. We provide a hard copy album and an online electronic album which can be populated with over 50 pages of the most prevalent cost-saving steps all ready for you to add to. Plus, we also provide the functionality to track your actual costs over a 6 to 12 month period to monitor your real savings.
The Intent of the programme is to provide your business and workforce with a no-fuss means to save costs on materials, consumables and practices. What is economise@work ?
It is a unique, effective programme aimed at improving the cost efficiencies of workplace operations, and at the same time saving significant money for the organisation via its built-in consumption cost tracker to follow your savings progress and meet the targets that you set.
Essentially, it is used to develop workplace-specific online albums of materials, consumables and practices that are the targets for cost reductions to the organisation.
What is a Workplace Savings Album ?
As the name implies, it is a pictorial album of topics depicting what things and practices in a workplace can be done in a more cost-efficient fashion, to save money. The album is also available online and is easy to update and maintain. Savings Albums can be pre-loaded with over 50 pages of the most prevalent cost saving items.
Categories of targets can include
Energy Use, Fuel Consumption, Consumables, Packaging and Production Materials, Vehicles, Equipment & Plant Operation, Recyclables & Waste Management, Water, plus many, many more.
How is it used ?
The online album is the medium through which all stakeholders (management, staff, suppliers) can be involved in a workplace-wide collaboration to focus on cost improvements.

Today, most people and organisations are conscious of the need (and desire) to curb excess expenditures throughout workplaces.
The real challenge is to turn these sentiments into effective actions that all stakeholders can participate in.
How does it all work ?
Firstly, your workplace nominates a Moderator, who will be our main contact throughout the installation process. Once the system is installed, the Moderator will be the administrator of the system.
- Most of the interaction with the Moderator is electronic and via web interaction, so no 'away-time' is required.
- The Moderator will be trained in the use of the database with full documentation provided. A "helpdesk" facility is always available during business hours.
- Guides and mentors are available to assist Moderators via web collaboration & consultation.
Your Moderator will also control the 'keys' to your secure web-based eco album database.
The Syndicated organisation then sets up and provides all the necessary web facilities, procedures, tools, starter entries, cost tracking and support. Your Moderator will be provided with user names and passwords as well as a completed hard copy album with over 50 pages of items already entered. These items may well cover all that you need to address in your workplace. However, you can add as many more electronic pages as you require (easily printed to add to your hard copy album) or delete any that are not relevant. It's entirely up to you.
The main innovative advantage of our Workplace Savings Album is that it resides on a secure, dedicated website, which your designated Moderator controls and maintains. We provide two sets of passwords, one set for the Moderator/Administrator and one set of "view only" passwords which you can freely provide to any other parties.
